Here's one to throw you for a loop. Unfortunately for Jiro, this is very very one-sided. (Jiro, as you could probably notice, doesn't have much luck with his relationships). It's already been said before that Jiro loves Etsuko (or Atsumi), even though he believes she's dead. However, the love he builds for Kiyoshi makes perfect sense, at least to me. Jiro spends most of his time with Kiyoshi, and knows him the best, besides his own family. And to reassure those who are in doubt, our "sweet tough guy" Jiro IS bisexual. Deal with it.

Jiro's knowledge of Kiyoshi keeps him from actually showing his feelings toward him. Kiyoshi tries to avoid any relationship what-so-ever to run away from the fact that he's Miden. A homosexual relationship is out of the question for him. So poor Jiro has to suffer in silence, not even telling Ayame in fear that Kiyoshi might find out. However, despite his secrecy, Ayame does eventually figure it out. Jiro acts as if he has no intrest in becoming more than a friend to Kiyoshi in fear that Kiyoshi might shut him out completely. Also there's that age gap of 7 years that Jiro KNOWS will bug Kiyoshi like crazy. Jiro shuts his feelings up, and just to stay close to him, acts no more than a friend to Kiyoshi. This makes Jiro an emotional wreak, and becomes quieter than before. What's more is that Kiyoshi and Atsumi, the two people Jiro love most, fall in love themselves. I know......I'm cruel to my Jiro. ;_; I'm sorry Jiro-san!!!! Waaah!

So why did I make Jiro fall in love with Kiyoshi? To show you people that I am NOT afraid of using yaoi in my stories. (there is nothing wrong with yaoi dammit! Homophobics. :P) Also, it adds to Kiyoshi's character as a Miden. His best friend falls in love with him, and it's a very sincere and deep love as well. Plus, it's sort of experiment to see how many of you readers are homophobics. :P Phhbt!
